What is included in basic cleaning?
Basic cleaning includes:
- vacuum and mop all floors
- dust furniture and all surfaces
- clean light switches and doorknobs
- empty garbage bins
- clean stairways
In bedroom:
- make bed
- dust furniture and decorations
- quick floor declutter
In bathroom:
- clean sinks, showers, bathtubs
- clean mirrors and countertops
- scrub toilets
- wipe bathroom cabinets (outside)
In kitchen:
- scrub and clean sink
- clean countertops, stovetop
- wipe appliances
- wipe down exterior of: dishwasher, oven, fridge, microwave
- clean inside microwave
- wipe down cabinet and drawer doors
What I will get after you professionally clean my carpets?
- Eliminate dust mites, allergens and trapped-in soil
- Reduce the spread of germs, bacteria, disease and mold
- Remove stains and spots already present
- Reduce the effects of wear, especially in high-traffic areas
- Restore the natural, clean appearance and texture of the carpets
- Extend the life of the carpets up to several years
Should I give tips?
Moving and cleaning are hard works, and you realize this because you've enlisted some help for your project. If things go right, movers and cleaners will do a great job and make your move day less stressful and home will look sparkling clean. Movers and cleaners, like many service industry workers, do not expect that tip, but it's a great wayto show your appreciation for helping you. This is especially important if you have any furniture, long flights of stairs or heavily soiled places to be cleaned. And of course, if they did an outstanding job, a little extra is always appreciated!
What you don’t move?
If you’re not sure about certain items (ie. servers, heavy equipment, etc.) or want an understanding of what might be considered hazardous (ie. explosives, flammables, poisons, etc.) for moving then please contact your moving coordinator!
Can I change move date if needed?
We understand that you may need to change your move date, and we’re here to assist as much as possible. Your moving coordinator will be happy to help but please keep in mind that changing the date may impact your scheduled services.
Will my furniture be protected?
Our Move and Clean team will protect your furniture with our heavy duty storage blankets in your home prior to transportation. We also carry shrink wrap if your items need an extra layer of protection. Don't worry, your stuff is safe with us.
Do I need to empty my dresser drawers?
Yes, all drawers from dressers, nightstands, desks, file cabinets etc. need to be empty when we arrive to ensure the safe travel of the item. Plastic dresser units are usually okay to leave full.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept two ways of payment as e-transfer & cash as well.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office is open from 8am to 8:00 pm Monday to Sunday. You can also send us an email outside of these hours. Generally, our moves take place between 8am and 8pm, but we are happy to discuss your moving needs and see if we can help.
What size is your truck?
Our new, clean and shiny straight trucks range anywhere between 20’ to 26’ long.
